God's Pursuit of the Blind | Mark 10:46-52
Throughout this summer we have been going through a sermon series on discipleship in the book of Mark. Sunday’s message will be the last message in this series. We have seen Jesus perform many miracles, and in this week's message, we will see Jesus perform His last miracle prior to His resurrection. Jesus meets a blind man named Bartimaeus in what may seem like a random chance event. But there are no random meetings when it comes to the Lord, and every event is ordained by God.
This meeting was a divine appointment arranged by God because Bartimaeus needed more than just his physical sight restored. He needed spiritual sight and forgiveness of his sins, which is only found in Jesus Christ. This week we will see four observations on how God pursues people and calls them into His eternal kingdom.
