Day:17 Roll No:169 Climate Change Climate change refers to long-term changes in Earth’s temperature, weather patterns, and environmental conditions. It mainly includes global warming, which is the gradual increase in the planet’s average temperature. The main cause of climate change is human activity, especially the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas. This releases greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, which trap heat and make the Earth warmer. Deforestation and pollution also contribute to the problem. Climate change leads to serious effects like rising sea levels, melting glaciers, extreme weather (floods, heatwaves, storms), and damage to ecosystems. It also affects humans by impacting agriculture, water supply, health, and living conditions. To reduce climate change, people can use renewable energy, plant trees, reduce waste, save electricity, and use eco-friendly transport. Governments and organizations are also working on policies to control emissions and protect the environment. In short, climate change is one of the biggest global challenges today, and it requires action from everyone to protect the planet for future generations Rubab EducationWali
