Session 1 - Artificial Intelligence: From Foundations to Practice (S01C1)

Jai Bhim, Welcome to the Ambedkar AI Initiative Youtube Channel. In this Session, you will learn the fundamentals of artificial intelligence while also understanding common misconceptions. AI is not a thinking machine, it does not hold truth on its own, and it is not the same as a search engine like Google. The session also introduces the philosophy of the initiative, encouraging you to use AI as a powerful tool without replacing human judgment and responsibility. You will also learn about the structure of the program, which includes a Foundation Course for general learners and a Developer Course for those who want to build and train their own AI models. In addition, the session explains the basic infrastructure behind AI systems, including physical infrastructure, hardware like GPUs, data, algorithms and models, and the applications that users interact with.
