The video introduces goal programming, but focusses on describing how to implement the example in the lecture in AMPL.
(when I say "thousands of" I mean "Million" ;-) - it's my fear of huge numbers playing with me).
Also, when we write the constraints with the deviational variables, we can write "equal" instead of "smaller or equal" or "larger or equal" as shown in the video which is also more correct.
