I set up a feed bunk next to a temporary fence for waste feed. The alfalfa hay we have in small square bales is very stemmy. I need someplace to pitch the stems after the sheep are done eating and I didn’t want to have to move the waste. This way I can pitch fork it directly to where it compost.
