Psalm 4:6–8
You have put gladness in my heart… in peace I will both lay myself down and sleep.
Peace shows up again—not because circumstances are perfect, but because trust has taken root.
Gladness here is not loud. It is settled.
To lie down in peace is a quiet act of faith.
Rest is not always easy, but it is often given when we release what we cannot control.
