PowerMill offers a new "Setups" entity to help control the manufacture of parts that use multiple machining operations or fixtures. Add toolpaths to a setup, then drag the setup into a NC program.
A synchronized link between setups and NC programs ensures changes made to the toolpaths contained within the setup are automatically applied to the NC program, building confidence the resulting G-code is complete and ready to run on the machine.
Setups work with PowerMill fixture offsets, making it easier to machine parts that use different fixture setups, or run batches of the same part.
