SFR Tech Session #1 - Shocks

In this first video we tackle shocks, because we keep seeing people ask "what shocks should I buy for my _________", followed by a bunch of guys shouting out whatever brand they have on their _________. While this may help sell a particular brand of shock due to popularity, it's really not all that helpful because it doesn't take into account the fact that not all vehicles are built the same, weigh the same, or used the same. What works for you may not work for me. Here we explain a little bit about the differences in shock technology and what's going on inside so hopefully you can make a more informed decision, or at least get your research headed in the right direction. We're planning to make a series of these tech segments aimed at answering a lot of the questions we see online over and over. With the rising popularity of social media over discussion forums we've noticed a steep decline in the amount of tech information out there for those getting into off-roading. We see the same questions asked time after time, often followed by incorrect answers and bad tech from people who don't know the answers themselves. In addition, even when good information is given, the entire discussion is lost in a few days as the facebook feed moves on. There's no memory, and no good way to search. Hopefully these videos will help in some small way.
