Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor tutorial

The Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor is a highly regarded piece of hardware. Its legacy now lives on in the plugin version. In this video I provide an overview of the plugin, including tricks that the manual doesn’t tell you! In the second part of the video I go over the workflow, critiques raised by the community and my own experience in using it. As a summary, it is a wonderful sounding compressor, best used on bus channels or to saturate a master bus. However, the UI is convoluted and there is room for improvement in the features and workflow.
