Hello! 👋 Welcome to Interprepedia! Check out my brand new website ✨ www.rosaospina.com ✨ featuring a blog with exclusive content! GET IN TOUCH: https://www.rosaospina.com/contact Remember to LIKE 👍🏻 and SUBSCRIBE ✔️ to be the first to know when new videos are uploaded. In this video, I will share with you and demonstrate a technique called shadowing that will help you improve your overall interpreting skills, but it’s especially great as a building block to excel in simultaneous interpretation. YouTube offers endless free practices for interpreters! Remember to choose videos of people that speak how you would like to speak. Ideally, it would be best to shadow people who are talking about subjects that you normally have to interpret. Record yourself when you do it. Then, compare your recording while you watch the original video or use the subtitle option to compare against a transcript. These are the videos I used for practice: U.S. Immigration Court video advises detained immigrants of rightshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3DrGiC80Zg&t=142s Salud en corto: Mitos de los tatuajes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6P5rkZ0eV8U Remember to 💥SUBSCRIBE 💥 if you LIKE 👍🏻 this content so you can be the first to know when new videos are uploaded.
