Shadowland started in 2017 with just the title which I thought was interesting. It was recorded in June 2025 and I arranged the music and finally the lyrics. The song is about how dreams conjure up people and faces from the past and how we forget them over time. Its about feeling caught between who you were and who you're becoming. “Shadowland” is a liminal space — not quite broken, not quite whole.
