In this video I will show you the basic of shape optimization in COMSOL Multiphysics. We try to find a 2D shape that has minimum perimeter for a given fixed area. based on Isoperimetric theorem we know that this shape should be a circle. This example does not involve a physics, however in the next videos I will show you examples that involves electrostatics physics. Also in a separate video I will cover issues related to adaptive meshing and the geometry re-meshing during the optimization Proof of Isoperimetric theorem: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15dV_KwFXdUyLMUOjJr0dB-vIpobBAyin/view?usp=sharing Finance: N=80 subs=5688 Available budget (N):5688-100-80*(80+1)=-892 Storage limit: 2^ln(5688)=400,62
