Sharing views using the Shared Views Tool

The Shared Views tool is used to share designs with internal and external stakeholders without releasing the original drawing files. With the introduction of this tool, it is no more required to publish DWF or PDF format files or email them whenever you need to share the data. Using this tool, you can extract views and data from the drawing and store them in the cloud, generate a link. You can share this link with others to view the design on a browser and leave comments from any web-enabled devices such as desktop, tablet, or mobile. After the link is generated and shared, the recipients can view, review, measure, comment on, and mark up the design right from the Autodesk Viewer in their web browser, and can share their feedback. You can access that feedback from within AutoCAD. Note that, shared views automatically expire after 30 days, but you can extend or terminate the link at any time. Video by CADCIM Technologies.
