Classic from 1967.
Everyone and his uncle, seem to attribute the legendary incendiary guitar solo here,to a certain Jimmy Page,yet it came from Blackburn,Lancashire born, Bryn Haworth, from 1967 U.K.mod band : Les Fleur De Lys, who backed Sharon Tandy on this "Freakbeat"classic.
Although Page was connected to the band in '66, he had nothing to do with this single.Still remember ,when I heard this for the first time in '67,and was totaly blown away....Although Hendrix had just arrived on the scene ,Beck-Ola and Zeppelin I had yet to be released, this guitar workout came totally out of the blue.Amazing.
