Found a few surprises while trimming dead branches out of the Evergreen Huckleberry bush. Found one, then another and another...they just kept coming. Note: my gait is not normally this bad. Was navigating hundreds of pine cones in wet muddy shoes. Next project will be raking the area.
I even slid into the muck, as the bank gave way...Yuck!
