I recently found this pair on youtube and instantly shipped it! I'm only a little sad that there aren't many full songs for these two, so I thought I would add my two cents for it all :)
Story:
Once Scar had taken over the Pridelands, and everything was destroyed, he though to make Nala his queen, however he was abusive and didn't react well to her refusal. So Nala runs away in order to find help (as she did in the film), haunted and angry by the past she has left behind which leaves its scars upon her mind. She travels far, until she meets a Tiger: Shere Khan. He is charming and charismatic, and although he at first thinks she's a potential threat, he finds her naive belief that he can help her pride to be endearing. He soon can't get her off his mind, and begins to want her and so follow her, finding every opportunity to be around her, even when he tells her of the humiliation he has suffered in his past. The pair find that the other can help to heal them of their emotional baggage, knowing that they don't want to be who they were and are looking for who they will be in the future.
