Skylar, a curious 13-year-old girl, visits a magical island with her mother and discovers glowing pebbles during a lantern festival. That night, she dreams of a distant floating world where copper aliens lose precious embryo specimens that fall into the ocean. Waking up, she realizes the pebbles hold tiny alien lives and chooses kindness over curiosity. She returns them to the sea, hoping they find their way back home.
