A walk to the nearby beach at Mill bay and i discovered pieces of the shipwreck HMS Barking which was built in 1941 and used for boom defences in WW2. This steam ship was being towed to Swansea as salvage when a storm hit in 1964 and she ran aground at Mill bay after her tow cable snapped. In this video i discover some pieces of the ship.
