Most mornings I walk the same three-mile loop with a camera in hand. Sidewalks, bike paths, a bridge I’ve crossed a thousand times. And yet—somehow—it never gets old. Recently, I switched my camera to 1x1 mode, shooting square JPEGs with a Leica monochrome profile and a bit of grain. Something about that format changed everything. Suddenly, I saw my routine world in a new way—reflections, dew, crows, puddles—all transformed through the 100mm Macro S prime.
