I recently got a 3D printer, the main reason was for work. When I'm filming or taking photos there is often something I need like a mic holder for two radio mics to go on the camera, I never quite found what I was looking for. Hey presto! I made exactly what I wanted. Then there were things around the house.
But if you are wondering if I designed all the things I wanted myself, no I didn't, I found a lot on a website called https://makerworld.com. There are loads of free designs to download. They are not the only site there are more.
For the designing I started off with Tinker CAD, it is free to use too. https://tinkercard.com
The 3D printer I got is from Bambu Lab, https://bambulab.com
