A hilarious jungle-swing cautionary tale told through the eyes of Baloo, who has just seen what became of little Mowgli after growing up in the human world. Once the innocent man-cub of the jungle, Mowgli has turned into a boozy, gambling, woman-chasing disaster, and Baloo wastes no time reminding Bagheera that maybe, just maybe, sending him back to civilisation was a terrible idea. Playful, cheeky, and full of comic regret, this song is Baloo’s ultimate “I told you so” moment, proof that the jungle had dangers, but humanity had worse habits. #ShouldveLeftHimInTheJungle #JungleSwing #ComedySong #ParodyMusic #FunnySongs #junglebook #baloo #bagheera #mowgli Lyrics : Bagheera… You remember when you said, “Man-village is where he belongs”? Yeah? Well… have you seen the man-village lately? I saw little Mowgli down in town last night, Gold chain swingin’ and his shirt too tight, Dice in his pocket, rum on his breath, Dancin’ with trouble like he flirtin’ with death. He used to chase butterflies, climb every tree, Now he’s chasin’ barmaids, shoutin’, “Who wants me?” He lost his rent money on a horse called Sue, Then tried to fight a lamppost… and the lamppost won too. Oh Bagheera, I told ya so, We should’ve never let that man-cub go. He had bananas, bees, and trees above, Now he’s got bad tattoos and unpaid love. I told ya, brother, I told ya true, The jungle was better for that boy we knew. Bare necessities? He threw ’em away, For whisky, women, and poker all day. Remember when Shere Khan gave him a scare? Now he owes three tigers money for a crooked card affair. He don’t fear claws, he don’t fear flame, But he runs from every woman who remembers his name. He used to howl with wolves under moonlit skies, Now he howls outside clubs with two black eyes. Says, “I’m a legend, I’m the king of the street,” Then falls asleep face-down in someone’s kebab meat. Bagheera said, “He needed mankind’s care,” Well mankind gave him lager and thinning hair. He once spoke softly to the jungle breeze, Now he shouts, “Who nicked my keys?!” Oh Bagheera, I told ya so, We should’ve never let that man-cub go. He had rivers, roots, and sunshine gold, Now he’s got bailiffs and a phone on hold. I told ya, panther, don’t act surprised, That boy got civilized and vandalized. Bare necessities? He lost the plot, Now the bare necessity is another shot. King Louie saw him and said, “Man, that’s rough,” Even the monkeys said, “He drinks too much.” Kaa took one look and slithered away, Said, “I don’t hypnotise train wrecks today.” The vultures were laughing up high in the sky, Singing, “That ain’t no man-cub, that’s a warning sign!” Even old Shere Khan, with his villainous grin, Said, “I was scary… but look at him!” He tried to romance three girls in one bar, Called each one “darling,” didn’t get very far. One threw a drink, one threw a shoe, The third called her brothers — and brother, they flew. He stumbled outside with his pride in a sling, Said, “Baloo, old mate, I’m still jungle king!” I said, “Kid, you’re not king, you’re barely upright, And your crown’s a traffic cone from Saturday night.” Oh Bagheera, I told ya so, We should’ve never let that man-cub go. He had simple joys and a peaceful soul, Now he’s got bar tabs and no self-control. I told ya, brother, I told ya plain, The village turned sunshine into headache and shame. Bare necessities? He don’t need three, Just a bath, a job, and therapy. So next time you find a kid in the jungle… Maybe don’t send him to humans so quick. At least with wolves, the worst he’d do is chew a slipper.
