This time I remove the shovel pin link and replace it with a master link with long pin (47-013871-004) from spare parts with out chain break tool. DO NOT ATTEMPT!!! I use a cutting wheel rather than a grinding wheel. It is cleaner and faster but the wheel is brittle. I let the wheel do the work. I make a slow steady clean cut. I use the wheel to grind with barely any pressure. I have removed the guard to get closer to the working surface. DO NOT ATTEMPT!!! (When I installed the chain I payed attention to the long pin retaining clip orientation/direction. So I did not have to remove the clip and flip it, just installed it in the right direction. Knowledge is power.)
