So, the story behind this song is a little different than my usual work. I started the project in April of 2021 with a simple melody, kick, and bass and continued working on it over the next several months until I eventually abandoned it in the summer of 2021 due to a lack of meaningful progress. Sometime in 2023 I rediscovered this project in my old files and started working on it again, polishing up the mix and reworking a few sections, but I still never managed to get it to a place where I was happy. Finally, in the fall of 2024, I decided that it was something I would regret if I never released, so I made the decision to finish and release it for this year's HUL album. Overall, this song might be one of the longest projects from beginning to end, so I am excited to finally have completed it! I hope you enjoy the new song.
