SimCity 2000 - (Main Theme Cover) 🏙

Celebrating 30 years of the Special Edition of one of my all-time favorite pieces of software: SimCity 2000! 🏙 I’ve always had vivid memories of playing SC2000 as a very young child on PlayStation and PSP—the opening bass line of the main theme composed by Sue Casper would give me chills every time. The game had such an immaculate vibe, somehow painfully mid to late 80s despite being released in 1993. This reimagined cover started as an experiment while I was listening to Hirokuni Korekata’s "Melody City" and playing the game and suddenly, I noticed the similarities between the two and IMMEDIATELY began recording to try and merge the two together into one cohesive track. Here’s the result—a heartfelt reimagining of the iconic theme. Hope you enjoy!
