A guided meditation using the chakras to guide our awareness. Chakras (from Indian philosophy) are described as swirling wheels of light and energy in the body. Each chakra is associated with a specific part of the body, and a unique energy and color. Recorded during a live class--Meditation for healthcare workers, cancer survivors, caregivers, and anyone curious about the healing benefits of mindfulness.This class supports beginners, as well as people who want to deepen their meditation practice. Studies indicate that mindfulness is an effective tool for managing stress, fear and pain, decreasing anxiety and improving well-being. You don’t need anything for class— just a place to sit comfortably. It’s very powerful to meditate in community.
