Simple Drawstring Skirt Sewing Tutorial

EDIT: For the waistband, cut it to the width of ONE skirt panel (i.e. the width of the front panel) so you have enough room to gather the rest of the skirt. You want to make sure that the waistband will comfortably fit around your waist with extra room for growth and the elastic waistband. I cut my waistband to 38inches for a size small.
