In this video, I showcase a computer program I built during my *2nd Year, 1st Semester (BSc)* on June 30, 2018. This program is designed to simulate a simple product selection system, allowing users to select products, view their choices, and see a total price that includes 2% VAT.
Here’s how it works:
- The computer prompts the user to input a *Product Number* corresponding to the item they want to buy.
- Once an input is provided, it displays the selected product along with the *total price, including 2% VAT.*
- Users can view their *previous selections*in order, providing a convenient history of items chosen.
- The process is *continuous* until the user exits by pressing “0.”
- For any unexpected or incorrect input, the program displays *“Data Not Found”* and resumes from the last successful step, ensuring a smooth experience.
This project was a hands-on way to learn about *input validation, error handling, and basic calculation* within a user-friendly program. Watch along for a demonstration, and if you're interested in simple programming projects or learning the fundamentals of error-proof applications, this is for you!
