I just got this in the mail the day I uploaded this (Today). This horn is as loud as an actual Simplex Truealert. That’s because the horn is the same as the Truealert. These devices normally work perfectly for replacing old 4903’s that would stop working or break. It’s interesting that they’re also ceiling mount Versions of these which use high end Simplex Parts such as panels or sync modules. Except the ceiling mount versions are known for being part of the Simplex 4906 series of Truealerts even though it’s the 4903 shell with the Truealert logo on them. I have the strobe on the 9252 on FreeRun so I can test the strobe freely with the strobe without all the extra Simplex Parts. It works perfectly for conventional systems or addressable systems.
