Heavy CAD models might take more power from your system while doing the simulation. Most of the time, those details in the model are not necessary for the results you expect from the simulation. This video show you how to simplify an imported 3D CAD file in the Visual Components. Simplification at this point means to reduces the amount of triangles in the CAD model. We will use the tools Decimate, Blokify, Cylinderify, Convex Hull, and Triangle Count.
