Simrig Conversion to Flight Sims.
This shows the transformation from Sim Racing Rig to Flight Sims for plane or helicopter use. The live build thread for my rig is here. https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/mobile-driving-flying-cockpit-with-motion-and-tactile-build.165289/ Key differences for helicopter use are that the pedals are anti-rotation to keep the helicopter from spinning in circles and always requires some pedal off center so no centering spring is used. It also uses a collective stick with a twist throttle grip for adjusting the pitch of the rotor blades. There a many 3D printed items on my rig shared on Thingaverse for those who would like to download them. Below are a couple links. Shortly after creating this video I designs a much more compact but solid 3D printed mount for my Virpil Mongoose CM2 base. It looks much better than what is in the video. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4833184 Link to adjustable 3D printed Crosswind Pedal mount that fits a SimLab P1(X) chassis https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4824511 Link to the 3D printed button box. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4686518
