Here is a sneak peek into our newest coding project: a solver for fast simulation of fire in complex geometries. In this animation we show the temperature, visibility and survivability criteria for a small burning car in the terminal when the ventilation is off.
Many fire solvers have extremely high computation demand or are severely limited with regards to the complexity of the geometry they can be run with. We are in the beta stage of creating a solver that sacrifices a little accuracy in favor of speed, applicability and ease of use. Overnight simulation enables engineers to test many variants before settling on a promising option and simulate only that with a high-demand solver.
