If you are new to sewing and have a Singer Simple Model 2263, this is the video series for you. Singer has other models that are very similar to this one including the Singer Tradition. I will be taking you through the basics of using this machine. I am planning to make about 5 different videos on topics such as:
- explaining the controls and setup,
- threading the top thread,
- using the automatic needle threader,
- threading the bobbin thread,
- filling a bobbin,
- testing your machine on scrap fabric, and
- basic maintenance.
If there is interest, I might go further and show some of the more advanced features like sewing a buttonhole.
