Sir Orfeo
Orfeo plays his harp to win back Herodis from the King of Faerie in this charming medieval version of the Orpheus and Eurydice story. Linda Marie Zaerr sings the Middle English romance to a thirteenth-century melody, and Laura Zaerr plays the gothic harp. The harp expresses the clarity and delight of Orfeo's court at Winchester, and the dusky vielle (played by Linda Marie) evokes the perilous beauty of Faerie.
