There is an updated version of this video using SiteGround's new client area interface. You can view it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Bmn8mqF7ME
For everyone else using the cPanel interface, continue reading below.
This video is an update where we're going to use SiteGround to install Let's Encrypt SSL certificate. This tutorial will walk you step by step through the process of setting up a wildcard and single-domain certificates.
Since wildcard certificates are now supported with free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates, the steps have changed a little with the updated cPanel interface. It's super easy to do and after a few minutes and a couple of clicks, you're done.
The benefit of using a wildcard SSL is that you won't have to create a certificate for each sub-domain you have on your website, e.g. store, blog, images, etc. instead you create one certificate for your top domain name (example.com), and all the sub-domains you have now, or will create in the future, will be covered by this certificate.
If you already have an SSL certificate installed and you want to upgrade to the wildcard certificate, that is also covered in this video.
If you are looking for a web hosting provider, I highly recommend:
