In this video, SITECH Intermountain will show you how to use a line string to check slopes using Trimble Siteworks. This is a useful tool for checking the slope of a surface before you start construction. To use a line string to check slopes, you will need to: 1. Open Trimble Siteworks. 2. Create a new project. 3. Add a line string to the project. 4. Set the slope properties for the line string. 5. Calculate the slope of the line string. To create a new project, click on the "File" menu and select "New Project." In the "Project Name" field, enter a name for your project. In the "Project Location" field, enter the location of your project. Click on the "Create" button to create your project. To add a line string to the project, click on the "Add" menu and select "Line String." In the "Line String Name" field, enter a name for your line string. In the "Start Point" field, enter the coordinates of the start point of your line string. In the "End Point" field, enter the coordinates of the end point of your line string. Click on the "Add" button to add your line string to the project. To set the slope properties for the line string, right-click on the line string and select "Properties." In the "Slope" section, set the "Slope Type" to "Calculated." In the "Slope Units" section, select the units that you want to use for the slope. Click on the "OK" button to save your changes. To calculate the slope of the line string, right-click on the line string and select "Calculate Slope." The slope of the line string will be displayed in the "Slope" property. Here are some tips for using a line string to check slopes: - Use a line string that is long enough to accurately represent the slope of the surface. - Make sure that the line string is straight. - Use the correct slope units for your project.
