I’ve just finished my Sky Hook Shop Crane build for my home workshop. Remember this video was inspired by Mr. Pete's Tubal Crane. Anyway, today I designed and tested out my lathe chuck lifting attachment. Happy to report that it work an absolute treat.
Why is my mobile cart, sky crane and chuck lifting attachment so good? My crane will lift a maximum of 45-50kg (100-110 pounds) from the floor to the full extension height of the jib. It has 360 degrees of rotation and the crane doesn’t tip over (whilst the the trolley is loaded).
