Slope Deflection Method for Beam Analysis - Problem No 5
A continuous beam ABC 18m long, is simply supported at ends A and B (or with roller supports) and is continuous over joint B. The span AB is 10m long and carries a centrally applied point load of 72KN and Span BC is 8m long and carries uniformly distributed load of 36KN/m over the entire span. Using slope deflection method, compute the end moments and plot the bending moment diagram. The beam has constant EI for both the spans.
