The promenade en dedans in attitude is as much a mental as it is a physical challenge. With each movement of the standing leg heel you want to renew every action, e.g. core engagement, strong upper back, wide elbows, lift back knee and little toe, etc.
If I was a student and not an ageing teacher, I would suggest more turnout of the standing leg and a stronger connection of the attitude and opposite shoulder.
