Adding an oil drain hose to your small engines makes it so much easier.
Buying a specialty hose can be very expensive but making your own is easy and so much cheaper.
The 3/8" ID hoses were purchased at Princess Auto.
The 3/8" barb fittings and cap were purchased at Fastenal
The M10-1.25mm barb fitting was purchased through Amazon as it was not available in my area.
The 1/2" PEX crimp rings and crimper was purchased at Home Depot
Improvement Ideas:
- I had to cut a bit off the end of the hose at the M10 side to have access for the wrench in order to tighten it to the motor. So make sure you leave room when assembling.
- Put a washer inside the cap to prevent leaks.
