Small Tool Kit 2026

SKIP to main kit at 06:20 This is a Small to medium sized toolkit I've been working on for the past year or so. My regular toolkits have Pliers in addition to other stronger locking pliers and mechanically based tools. They lack both a multimeter and a soldering iron. In some of my kits I do run a multimeter sometimes, but not usually for mechanical base kits. I find that a strict simple toolkit is more easy to save time. No wire strippers In my electronics kit I will not have multiple pliers and wrenches. I may have locking pliers in some but not required. I do have soldering irons and multimeters in them with wire strippers A hyrbrid kit is combination of both ideas which has pliers and multimeter and a soldering iron in a kit so i dont have to carry two bags. This comes at a price of the kit niether being a full mechnical or electronics kit but an overall coverage. I find these kits have been useful in my recent activites and grant a wider coverage for most smaller projects i may happen to come upon.
