The Small World Initiative is on a quest to inspire the next generation in STEM and engage thousands of students around the world in the hunt to find new drugs to treat infectious diseases known as superbugs. The United Nations calls superbugs the greatest and most urgent global risk of our time. Each year in the US alone, superbugs kill more than 150,000 people and infect millions. While the world is facing this pressing challenge, you can do something about it today. Support the Small World Initiative and become the real-life superheroes we need for tomorrow.
