Predictive maintenance instead of reactive maintenance
SAUTER's cloud services range from commissioning, system monitoring (inspection) and optimisation (maintenance) to predictive maintenance. The linchpin here is continuous inspection, which records for example, valve leakage, pressure surges or wear and tear. The Smart Actuator's additional sensors make this possible by recording data on the actuator's status and transmitting it to the SAUTER Cloud. Here, data analysis takes the form of a comparison with reference values. This means that the current system status can be called up at any time and maintenance work can be planned.
What's more, the system derives recommendations for action for the user. For example, it indicates when certain control functions and the valves themselves need to be checked. Components can therefore be replaced before faults occur or the system comes to a standstill.
