If you have a smaller diameter piling you may be able to snap together the SnapJacket using just your hands. However, larger diameter pilings will require the use of ratchet straps. Starting from the bottom, tighten the straps around the SnapJacket in 6-8 inch sections until the entire SnapJacket is bound together. You should hear a distinctive snapping sound in this process.
