Snow Day

This started with me trying to show a Redditor how to hear side chain compression by turning off the sidechain source. I started with two Cymatics loops, Beginnings and Risk, from DESTINY. I set Risk (drum loop) to sidechain (ReaComp inputs 3&4) into Beginnings (vocals), then basically muted Risk (turned off its master send) , and then inverted (delta mode) the sidechain compression effect on Beginnings by Opt/Alt clicking the FX mix knob. This causes the vocals to throb in time with the drum loop, adjusting attack/release to taste, and obviously removes the original drum loop. After that Numa Player MIDI piano, some GB drums, and some resonator guitar. Thank goodness for Reaper's Fixed Lanes or I'd never have gotten a keeper on the resonator. Various oddness with Reaper's video processor to finish off.
