Snowdonia or Bust!
It's Friday 9th May 2025 and there's a great forecast for the whole of England. The record chasers have gone to Sharpenhoe and are hoping for an early flight ending up deep in South Wales, but most of the rest of us are at the Malvern Hills, planning flights across Wales to Aberystwyth, some 120kms away. But Joe Dart and I chatted the evening before and discussed trying to connect with the sea breeze front and flying north into Snowdonia. I duly packed my tent and basic volbiv kit with the intention of spending the night somewhere in Snowdonia, and catching an early train back home the following morning- I had to be back that afternoon as we had camping plans with friends that weekend! Turn on the TV, grab a drink, make yourself comfortable, and enjoy the fantastic views as I wend myself across Wales during my (almost) seven hour flight!
