So She Prays

Tonight as I was falling asleep, Holy Spirit laid April Minton heavily on my heart. I couldn’t ignore it, so I reached out to her. Lately I’ve been writing music again, and thanks to Hook Drew Brawner, he’s been putting my lyrics to music and bringing them to life in a way I couldn’t do alone. Even though this song came from a place in my own story, I truly believe it was meant for her too. April, I love you deeply. You are the sister God placed in my life at just the right time. You’ve loved me back well, stood with me, and been such a blessing. You’ve filled spaces I didn’t even realize were empty and became part of the healing and restoration in my life. Even what looked like my Job season ending, God used you as part of the restoration on the other side of it. Thank you for being you.
