The SOCOM games have become unfairly forgotten despite their major impact on online multiplayer for consoles, specifically the PlayStation 2. Although the online features are mostly lost, the single player component of each of the first four games still remain. Each campaign offers something different and their own issues, but with some patience, there is still some quality gameplay here that holds up after so many years.
