PHOS (1976) The «Phos» (Light) is their premier Rock album in the '70s, and is the most commercial album by any other Greek band of all time. This album has been a great commercial success in Europe and America, at a time were many great Musicians released their albums, Billboard magazine more concerned about a great Greek band called Socrates. The guitar of John Spathas was on fire and the drums of George Trantalidis, were an incredible blend of traditional Greek sound and hard rock. The album was recorded in 1976 at Orange Studios in Soho with Vangelis Papathanasiou on keyboards, and a very good production for Greek standards of that time. «Phos» was released around the world surpassing the 300,000 copies and continues to be reissued by American, Swedish and Japanese companies.
