What happens when you drop real-world constraints into the classroom and ask students to design for change? In our February session, Eduardo Guerra and students from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano share the results of a series of software design challenges framed around the Open Data Hub. After a short introduction to the activity and the problem statements, student teams will present their approaches to building more extensible and generalisable solutions. You’re then invited to a poster exhibition where the teams will dive deeper into their work. Come for fresh perspectives; leave with concrete ideas you can adapt in your own systems!
