Solder preforms are often used in flux-free soldering processes in the production of power modules. By using our module Punch Unit these preforms can be punched from a roll directly in the machine to the required size.
Further-more, the punch unit can be equipped with interchangeable punching tools, which different in their geometries such as rectangular or circular. A residual container was integrated into the module for the preform waste after the punching operation.
